1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE

This Cookie Policy has been prepared by Göçay-Onur Tur. İşl. Yat. Nak. Mad. ve Tic. A.Ş. / The Dalaman Golf Club, in its capacity as data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation.

3.1 By Storage Duration

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Pursuant to KVKK Art. 9 (as amended in March 2024 by Law No. 7499), the transfer of personal data abroad requires the existence of one of the following conditions:

  • An adequacy decision has been issued by the Board for the destination country,
  • or, in the absence of an adequacy decision: the data controller or data processor provides appropriate safeguards and the data subject has the right to object to the transfer,
  • or the explicit consent of the data subject, provided that one of the processing conditions under KVKK Art. 5/2 or Art. 6/3 is met.

Important: If you reject cookies other than strictly necessary cookies, no data will be transferred abroad. Even if you have previously given consent, you may withdraw it at any time via the “Withdraw Consent” option in the cookie management panel below; in that case, the relevant cookies will be disabled immediately.

6.1 Cookie Management Panel

7. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

As a data subject, pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To request information if it has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and that this be notified to the parties to whom the data was transferred,
  • To request deletion or destruction of your data where the grounds for processing no longer exist, and that this be notified to the parties to whom the data was transferred,
  • To object to a result that arises to your detriment due to analysis carried out exclusively through automated systems,
  • To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.

You may submit your requests through the channels below. Applications are concluded free of charge within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on their nature; if the transaction requires an additional cost, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will apply.

This Cookie Policy may be updated in line with legal amendments or changes to our cookie practices. The current version is available on our website. Notice of any material changes will be published on the relevant page.

The Dalaman Golf Club will undergo its annual overseeding programme from 17 September to 2 October. During this period, the golf course will be closed to allow for essential maintenance works. We appreciate your patience as we prepare the course for an exceptional playing experience throughout the season.
